If you haven’t already guessed, one of my very favorite methods of working with fabric is to use it to create texture and dimension. And if you share my love of three dimensional textile art, you will love my latest art quilt pattern – The Enchanted Tree.
For this pattern I’ve used super simple fusible applique and fabric embellishing techniques to create a richly textured and “enchanted” design.
The Enchanted Tree Art Quilt Pattern and Tutorial has 12 pages and includes instructions, tips, full color photos, diagrams, and full size pattern pieces and templates, and is available as an instant pdf download.
Please note: This pattern assumes you have a basic knowledge of quilting and includes only basic instructions for assembling the quilt, and does not include instructions for attaching binding or a quilt sleeve. However you can find links for adding binding and a quilt sleeve here on the product information page.
Or head straight over to the store and download now …
I hope you love making this art quilt as much as I enjoyed creating it for you!
Oh … and PS
Did I mention how good the pdf looks on ipad?
My ipad has become my favorite method of reading books, magazines and patterns – even craft books. Because it has such a great size screen and an easy zoom, it’s super easy to read instructions as well as view images close up.
PPS – My favorite method of getting pdfs onto my ipad is via Dropbox which allows you quick and convenient access to documents across all your computers, laptops and mobile devices. It’s free and super easy! Once your pdf is in Dropbox, you can open it using Adobe Reader or any other pdf reader, Kindle app for ipad, or iBook.
