After the release of my latest pattern The Bella Clutch purse pattern last Monday, I decided I needed to make one more purse. Not for samples or for demonstration purposes. But one just for me.
Even though I love the sample purses that I’ve made, I’m really more of an edgy type of girl at heart and I like my accessories to make a statement. So it was time to do a little playing in Photoshop to create a piece of photo art that I could use for the purse flap. It seems like ages since I’ve had time to play with Photoshop. Well, actually it has been ages – far too long. How does life get so busy.
But it didn’t take long to come up with a great design for the purse flap which I printed on fabric. And I love it – it’s perfect! I particularly love that checkerboard. I think it might have to add a little hand stitching though. I also love that this pattern is so versatile and it looks great with all sorts of different types of fabric.
